Origin
Levante (Triticum durum Dest.) is an Italian originated durum wheat variety. It was registered in 2011 by Tasaco Tarim.
Form of spike
Form of spike is with awn. Colour of spike is whitish, spikes are long, it doesn’t spill grains and blending capability is good.
Grain Quality
Grain has elliptical in shape and colour of grain is golden yellow,
Colour index, requested to make high quality pasta, is very high (24.5-26.5),
Feature of durum is very high,
It has large grains.

Natured "Alternative growth", resistant to cold and it is medium early variety,
Scape is sturdy in spite of being high and has good resistance to lodging,
It has high yielding potential in irrigated areas,
It’s recommended that quantities of spread seeds are 200-220 kg/ha with seeding machine, using more seeds causes sibling spikes to remain small,
High adaptability to different cultivation conditions;
